Nanjing Xiaozhuang College is a full-time public undergraduate college built jointly by Jiangsu Province and Nanjing City. Its educational history can be traced back to the Xiaozhuang Experimental Rural Teachers'College founded by the great educator Tao Xingzhi in March 1927. In 2000, the former Nanjing Normal College, Nanjing Institute of Education and Nanjing Xiaozhuang Normal School merged and upgraded to undergraduate education; in 2014, Nanjing Higher Normal School for Children merged.
