Tianjin Vocational and Technical Normal University is the earliest General Higher Normal University established in China with the main task of training vocational education teachers. It was founded in 1979 and belongs to the former Ministry of Labor. In 2000, it was transformed into a co-construction between the central and local governments, with the management of Tianjin as the main task; in 2010, it was renamed Tianjin Vocational and Technical Normal University; in 2012, the Ministry of Education and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government jointly established. The basic conditions for running a school are excellent. It covers an area of more than 800,000 square meters and has a building area of more than 430,000 square meters. There are more than 17,000 full-time students, including 33 doctoral students, more than 1,000 full-time and part-time master students, one national experimental teaching demonstration center and seven Tianjin municipal experimental teaching demonstration centers, and more than 420 million yuan in assets of teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment.
