Zhejiang College of Foreign Languages is a public provincial general undergraduate university based on foreign language and literature, with coordinated development of literature, economics, management, pedagogy, science, art and other disciplines. Former Zhejiang Institute of Education, founded in 1955, started general undergraduate education in 1994, and was approved by the Ministry of Education in 2010 for restructuring and renaming. The school actively carries out international educational exchanges and cooperation.
