Suzhou University of Science and Technology is located in the famous historical and cultural city of China, known as the "paradise on earth" in ancient Suzhou, adjacent to the Stone Lake water, sitting on the mountains above, beautiful campus environment, beautiful scenery. The school's predecessor, Suzhou Institute of Science and Technology, was formed in September 2001 by the merger of Suzhou College of Urban Construction and Environmental Protection, a university directly under the Ministry of Construction, and Suzhou Normal College of Railway, a university directly under the Ministry of Railway. It is a common college built by the central and local governments and mainly managed by Jiangsu Province.
