OUR HISTORY

Founded in 1950 as one of the first universities of P. R. China, Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU) enjoys a longstanding reputation of excellence in China. Our legacy of providing globally relevant, practical education shapes our future as one of the world universities with world-class disciplines.

BTBU gains a widely recognized qualifications with Food Science and Technology program accredited by IFT and Business Administration program in the process of accreditation by AACSB which will give the students the professional edge and help the students achieve their career ambitions. Some of our graduates have gone on to become Academicians of China Academy of Engineering, which is the top academic institution in China; top scientists and scholars in different fields; ministers in different Ministries of government and CEOs in different businesses.

At BTBU, we’ll put our students in touch with a world of possibilities through our international affiliations, industry and alumni mentoring programs, and innovative partnerships. We offer many joint cooperation programs in different levels and areas, as well as exchange opportunities through more than 61 partner agreements with overseas universities in 20 countries. BTBU’s  goal is to become a leading institution in global education in China. Hence, recently it has included 10 English Taught Programs in its portfolio.
